As you may already know, the Intune Connector that is used for Entra Hybrid Join is getting deprecated at the end of June 2025.

💡Why?
As a part of Microsoft’s Secure Future Initiative, this will strengthen the account security. A Managed Service Account (MSA) will be used instead of a SYSTEM account.
💡Why MSA?
Among other benefits, MSAs are managed domain accounts that rotate passwords automatically, can be granted for just enough access, which is modelled to use only the required permissions to run the Intune Connector on a domain-joined server.
🚩What will happen starting July 1, 2025?
Starting July 1, 2025, Intune will stop accepting Autopilot enrollments from the old connector build.
✈️How to Prepare for the change?
🔸New build 6.2504.2001.8 is available for download within the Intune portal.
🔸Uninstall the old connector > Download and install the new connector.
🔸Configure the Managed Service Account (check the link for the steps)
